Started the day very early, with fog rising over the Assabet River. Then spent over 2 hours in the car, just trying to get to the airport.
Following the 2+ hour drive, the seemingly endless flight to LAX allowed for many movies.
Then there was the wild taxi trip to Santa Monica – 8? 10? lanes of traffic just jammed in every direction.
So 10ish hours after leaving home I checked in and went for a stroll. California does have some nice things.
