Day 6 – Choice
A May Day.. with violets blooming in the grass. While they look nice when flowering, these are otherwise nearly indestructible weeds. I’ve tried just about everything – and as it turns out, the best way to kill them was to let a drought kill the whole yard. Lets hope the grass comes back!

Day 10 – Favorite Color
I actually don’t really have a favorite color anymore. It must be a sign that I’m an adult. It used to be blue, or green, maybe. Today it was green, with some new grass sprouting to support it.

Lunch, Interrupted
Mowed the lawn today.. and narrowly avoided ruining this snake’s lunch life. I have a severe respect for animals, and let Mr Snake eat his froggy lunch. I still don’t understand why I have frogs / toads in my lawn, but I know who likes it. Also took a quick video (click if you want…

Weeds
Violets. The only weeds I tolerate in the lawn. I’ll eventually kill them, but right now they are the least offensive of my lawn invaders.
