Day 7 – Choice – Spidery
Sure, it looks terrifying, but this was kind of a “pet” spider for a couple weeks – it was always hanging out near the kitchen sink – til it vanished one day. Soap suds apparently weren’t its favorite.

This hawk was hanging out in the front yard – and accidentally stepped on a leaf. Turns out those big talons have a slight drawback when the leaves are falling!

Did you know.. that blue jays are NOT BLUE? Turns out they have quite unique feathers that simply look blue thanks to the sky. Kind of like polar bears – who are not really white. Crazy world this is. Also, blue jays are related to CROWS, which explains they smarts as well as absurdly annoying noise…

There’s a Chinese Evergreen plant that suffers along every day in this house. For the last few years its been really tortured by the minions, on top of the general lack of indoor plant green thumbs in the house.
