A strange shift in local town activities has left a deficit in July 4th firework displays. This year, ye ole Acton chose to have a show, while almost every surrounding town did not. End result, massive, massive crowds in a area that cannot handle crowds. The fireworks were probably fine, but there were countless stories of people not getting home til 3 hours after the show. Slight traffic management complications..
That all said we went up to North Andover to catch fireworks this year. Some long exposures for fun:
