Before and After, Baking Edition
Dry ingredients mixed separate from the wet ones, per King Arthur Flour’s Recipe of 2018. I cannot count how many of these things I’ve made since 2018. Sometimes with choco chips, caramel chips, often without. Lately I have considered a recommendation from AI – a swirl of peanut butter. I’m very intrigued by that one.…

Twinkly Time
December means.. LIGHTS. Its a slight obsession.. especially since I started putting up Twinkly lights. Smart lights, app controlled, syncing and all kinds of amazing effects and customizations.. right up my alley. A few other brands are now doing this, but I’m all in with Twinkly! Tis the Season
Christmas decor, Legos, catalogs, candy.. not pictured – the music. Actually that was probably not in season yet in the house. Radio, different story. Humbug!!

Scenes From The Attic
Woke up on 12/3 and found it chilly in the house. Quick inspection showed the upstairs thermostat was dead. Chased the idea of the thermostat being dead for a while, but proved myself wrong there. That’d be much too easy. If the device was fine, I deduced there was no power to it (upstairs). Why?…

Space, again.
That “night site” mode is really incredible, coming from an amateur photog. Every clear is a temptation for more star pics.

A drip
This is like a real world Rorschach test. If you see this in your driveway, most people don’t see .. anything. I see it though. Its a drip. A leak. Car juice! Later we learned it was either a oil cooler and/or radiator leak. I think radiator based on the placement under the vehicle. Anyway,…
