This hydrangea was planted when Noah was born – and as he hits 12, it might be the best year yet for this shrub. Though, I’ve read that the mild winter has allowed almost all hydrangeas to have spectacular blooms this year.
Back to my point. Most bloomed in June. As I write this post – August 4th, this blue wonder is still going, having never hit its stride til mid July.
I can’t explain it, but things bloom late here – like the big rhododendron out back.
